Founder & Instructor
Brett Greenlee
Brett Greenlee followed in his father’s footsteps becoming a second-generation fireman in 2005, joining the Carroll Township Volunteer Fire Department. Brett currently holds the rank of Assistant Chief with the Carroll Township Volunteer Fire Department. Brett has spent the last several years as a career fireman for the City of Jeanette.

Brandon Chapman
Brandon Chapman has 15 years of career and volunteer experience and currently serves as a Firefighter on Engine 17 in the city of Pittsburgh. He also holds the title of Assistant Fire Chief for the Stowe Township Fire Department and is a Firefighter for the West Lanham Hills Volunteer Fire Company 28 of Prince George's County, Maryland. Brandon is a PA State Suppression instructor, teaches recruit school for the city of Pittsburgh, and is also a lead instructor for Butler County Community College. He shares expertise in fire suppression, specifically through the engine company. Brandon is a Co-founder and instructor for GRIT Fire Training LLC, actively contributing to the development of comprehensive training programs to promote firemanship through training.

Alex Plutto
Alex Plutto is a third-generation fireman who has been a student of the fire service for 15 years getting his start outside of the city of Pittsburgh as a volunteer. Alex currently works for the District of Columbia Fire and EMS Department and serves as the Engine Company Lieutenant for West Lanham Hills VFD Company 28 located in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Don Baird
Don Baird is a 19-year veteran of the fire service. Don is currently a Deputy Chief with the Stowe Township VFD and a duty crew member of Moon Run VFC. He also serves as a hazmat technician with Allegheny County Hazmat and a Planning Team Manager with PA USAR Strike Team 1.

Sean Whiten
Sean Whiten, a 4th generation fireman from West Virginia, began volunteering in 2003 with the Roscoe VFC. Sean is still currently an active member of the Roscoe VFC. In 2017, Sean became a career fireman with the Morgantown Fire Department. Sean is a ProBoard Certified Instructor II as well as an NFPA 1403 Train The Trainer Instructor.

Conor Wright
Connor Wright is currently assigned to Squad 3 with the District of Columbia Fire and EMS Department.

Dylan Bell
As a fourth generation fireman, Dylan Bell grew up in the firehouse, tagging along with his dad any chance he could. In 2013 he was hired by Prince William County, VA. and spent his time learning the ins and outs of the fire service working everywhere from rural Virginia to busy Interstate 95. In 2021, he was hired by the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire and currently works at 17 Engine in the city’s “Homewood” neighborhood.

Adam DeLuca is a second generation fireman. Currently assigned to 8 Engine in the East Liberty neighborhood of Pittsburgh.

Mason Beltz is currently a lieutenant at Engine 23 with Horry County Fire/Rescue.

Oliver Kline is currently assigned to Truck 17 with the District of Columbia Fire and EMS Department.

Kyle Bohannon has been in the fire service for 10 years, currently assigned to Engine 22 in Richmond, VA.

Kenny Long is currently assigned to 17 Engine with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire.

Steven Robert
Steven Robert is a second generation fireman who got his start with the Williston (VT) Fire Department in 2014. Soon after joining he found himself at the firehouse just about every day. This slight obsession led him to the gorgeous Prince Georges County in 2016 where he became a Live-In at the Hyattsville Volunteer Fire Department. Steven was a live-in for four years and currently serves as the Truck Company Captain and Training Officer. In his time as a Live In, Steven worked for UL FSRI as a content creator, which led him to involvement in the Coordinated Fire Attack and Search & Rescue studies. In 2021, Steven was hired by the District of Columbia Fire Department where he is currently assigned to Truck Company 17.
When not at the firehouse, Steven enjoys photography, hiking, mountain biking and cooking.

Eric Darr is currently assigned to 17 Engine with the Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire.

Sean Sokolowski
Sean Sokolowski is currently a Lieutenant with Butler City Fire and a firefighter with McKeesport.

Cody McCarley
Cody McCarley is a second-generation fireman, following in his father's footsteps as a volunteer in Union, SC. He joined the Woodruff FD in 2012 and spent five years in the Live-In Program while pursuing his education. Cody furthered his experience as a Live-In with Horry County (Myrtle Beach) Rescue Company 3 and in Prince George's County, MD.
After returning home, Cody advanced quickly through the ranks, becoming the Career Fire Chief of the Trinity Fire Department in 2021. He is passionate about sharing lessons learned, building relationships, and "talking shop" with fellow fire service professionals, believing that while tactics and training matter, the heart of the fire service lies in its people, which is why he's here with us today.
